Bulls Power and Bears Power are included in many popular trading terminals. To install the indicator to the chart of your financial instrument in MetaTrader 4<\/a> or MetaTrader 5<\/a>, go to the Main Menu: Insert\/Indicators\/Oscillators\/Bulls Power and Bears Power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original method by A. Elder presumes using signals<\/a> from three indicators: Bulls Power, Bears Power и EMA (13). The latter demonstrates trend direction<\/a>, while the remaining two indicators are used for finding entry points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/span>A signal to buy<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
A signal to buy requires to two main conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EMA (13) is aiming upwards; an uptrend has already started or is just beginning;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Bears Power is negative but growing – the bars are reaching 0 and higher.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Two more conditions which are not obligatory but increase the probability of a successful trade:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. The last peak of the Bulls Power histogram is above the previous one.
4. Bears Power has formed a bullish divergence<\/a>: on the price chart, the new low is lower than the previous one, while in the histogram, a new low is above the preceding one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the signal forms, place a pending buy order<\/a> (or enter by the market) a bit higher than the high of the last two candlesticks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Place a Stop Loss<\/a> behind the local low on the price chart and take your profit<\/a> when a strong resistance area is reached or some evidence of a reversal downwards appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
