Ichimoku Cloud Analysis 03.02.2013 (GBP/USD, GOLD)

Weekly Analysis, February 4^th – 8^th, 2013

GBP/USD

GBPUSD, Time Frame Weekly – Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen intersected inside Kumo Cloud and formed “Golden Cross” (1); Tenkan-Sen is directed downwards, Kijun-Sen is moving upwards, other lines are horizontal. Ichimoku Cloud is going up (2), Chinkou Lagging Span is on the chart, and the price is inside Kumo Cloud. In the near term, we can expect support of Senkou Span A, resistance of Senkou Span B; the price is expected to move above the cloud and then return to the its broken border.



GBPUSD, Time Frame Daily – Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen intersected above Kumo Cloud and formed “Dead Cross” (1); Tenkan-Sen and Senkou Span A are directed downwards, other lines are horizontal. Ichimoku Cloud is going down (2), Chinkou Lagging Span is below the chart, and the price is below the lines. In the near term, we can expect the price to fall down and then try to stay inside the cloud.

GOLD

GOLD, Time Frame Weekly – Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen intersected inside Kumo Cloud and formed “Dead Cross” (1); Tenkan-Sen and Senkou Span A are directed downwards, Kijun-Sen is moving upwards, Senkou Span B is horizontal. Ichimoku Cloud is going up (2), Chinkou Lagging Span is above the chart, and the price is inside Kumo Cloud. In the near term, we can expect the price to move downwards inside the cloud and support of Senkou Span A.



GOLD, Time Frame Daily – Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen intersected below Kumo Cloud and formed “Golden Cross” (1); Senkou Span B is directed downwards, other lines are horizontal. Chinkou Lagging Span is on the chart, and the price is below Kumo Cloud, in the channel between Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen. In the near term, we can expect resistance of Tenkan-Sen and Senkou Span A.
