A lot of significant macroeconomic reports are going to define the movement of currency pair this week.

Macroeconomic calendar is full of interesting statistics and significant events this week. Two meetings of the world’s leading Central Banks, reports on the real estate market and Balance of Trade – well, in short, they are worth paying attention to.

On Monday, China is going to publish the April report on the Balance of Trade. Japan will report on the Consumer Confidence in April, and Germany – on the Factory Orders in March. The United Kingdom is going to enlighten the market about the Halifax House Price Index, and the Eurozone – about the Sentix Investor Confidence. Each of these reports is important in its own way.   

On Tuesday, Germany will publish reports on the Industrial Production in March and the Balance of Trade. Later that evening, the USA will report on the Wholesale Inventories in March.

On Wednesday, China will inform the market about the PPI and the Inflation Rate in April. The USA will report on the Import in the same month. The Reserve Bank of New Zealand will hold another meeting and is expected to make some decisions relating to its monetary policy. At the same time, the regulator will publish its comments.

Thursday will feature the most statistics over the week, so the market volatility might increase. The United Kingdom will publish reports on the Industrial Production and the Manufacturing Production in March, along with the Balance of Trade. A bit later, the Bank of England will have another meeting, which will be followed by the BoE Inflation report and the NIESR GDP Estimate. In the evening, the USA will report on the PPI in April and the weekly Unemployment Claims.

On Friday, Germany will publish the CPI in April and the GDP in the first quarter of 2017. The Eurozone will report on the Industrial Production in March. Later, the USA will report on the Inflation Rate and the Retail Sales in April.
