Rules of RoboForex 12th anniversary promotion

  1. Promotion timeframes
    1. The coupons for taking part in the promotion are handed out from 1 July 2022 to 30 April 2023.
    2. The prize games with Coupons are organised once a month from August 2022 to May 2023.
  2. Participation rules
    1. To receive a Coupon for participating in the promotion, a client or a partner has to pass the complete verification (passport and address) and fulfil the conditions listed below.
    2. Coupons are handed out automatically in three categories: Trader on Prime account, Partner, and CopyFX Trader.
      1. Conditions of receiving a Coupon for Prime account:
        • Depositing no less than 300* USD into the account (or the equivalent amount in another currency) during the month during when the Coupons for the current game were handed out.
        • The trading volume on the account during the month when the Coupons for the current game were handed out should be no less than three lots (only positions in Currency pairs and Metals opened during the current month are taken into account).

        *Only the money deposited since 1 July 2022 inclusive will be taken into account.

      2. Conditions of receiving a Coupon for Partners:
        • At the end of the month, the overall size of the partner commission fees must be no less than 300 USD (or the equivalent amount in another currency). Loyalty programme payments are not taken into account.
      3. Conditions of receiving a Coupon for CopyFX Traders:
        • Only results on Prime CopyFX accounts are taken into account.
        • At the end of the month, the Trader must be on the top 30 list of CopyFX traders with Prime accounts.
    3. The maximum number of Coupons the Trader can receive every month is three – one in each category.
    4. Each Coupon participates in the game of the following month after the Coupon was received.
  3. Raffle rules
    1. The raffles will be held on the first Friday of every month with the Coupons that were handed out in the previous month.

      For example, Coupons handed out in July 2022 will be raffled after the trading session closes on 5 August 2022.

    2. There will be 64 winners in each game. To become a winner, the Trader needs the number of their Coupon to be numerically the closest to one of the winning combinations.

      The winning combinations will consist of the closed prices of the below-listed assets on the last trading day of the first week of the month, nearest to the one when the Coupons were handed out. Price data from an independent resource, finance.yahoo.com, will be used.

      Example of calculating a winning combination:

      If on the day of calculating the combination, AAPL shares close at 133.40 and MSFT shares close at 264.54, the winning combination for the first place will be 340454.

    3. The schedule of all raffles is displayed on the page of the promotion. The results of each raffle with a list of the winning combinations will also be saved there.
    4. In case two Coupons are equally close to the winning combination, the Coupon with the larger numeric value wins.

      Example of choosing a winner in an arguable case:

      Winning combination: 723044
      Closest Coupon numbers: 723034 and 723054
      Winner: 723054

    5. Each participant of the promotion may win only in one category of any monthly raffles, i.e. if their Coupons win in several categories, they will only receive one prize – the largest one. Other winning Coupons of the participant in other nominations will not be taken into account when choosing the winners.
  4. The prize fund, and distributing prizes among winners
    1. The total prize fund is $1,200,000.
    2. The prize fund for each game is $120,000.

      The total number of winners in each game is 64.

  5. Accrual of prize funds
    1. Prizes will be deposited into the winners' Wallets, nominated in USD. If there are none, prizes will be deposited into trading accounts, nominated in USD.
      If the Winner has neither Wallets, nor accounts in USD, the prizes will be deposited into their accounts in other base currencies up to one month after the raffle. Conversion on prizes will be made by the inner exchange rate of the company valid at the time of depositing.
    2. The prize money can be used for trading, or can be withdrawn from the account or Wallet by any available means and with no additional conditions.
